Garden ‘features’…I sometimes think have more of these than I have plants!
But I do love them! And I think they add character.
When William comes for a visit, he always enjoys a wander to the end of the garden, with me, and looking at these…the simplest things seem to please him.
However, my favourite has to be Mr Mole…
When we moved here, we inherited this pixie, below…he has far more moss on his body than he had three years ago. Pixies are very much associated with Devon and Cornwall, but especially the moorland. I’d love to know how he ended up in our garden! He’s quite large…and very jolly!
I well remember this blank canvas…
And how my daughter transformed it…
I guess I’m just a sucker for garden ‘fripperies’, as my husband calls them!
I also have my eye on this one…it’s just not flown home with me….yet! 😜
Moving on…
Someone who did fly here today …
You might think that this dear little boy has paint on his nose…but no! He fell over on Monday, flat on his face…but was so very brave!
Today, we’ve made some coloured Easter eggs…
And we’ve done some carrot printing…
And… baaaaa!
And, as per usual, a fine time was had by both of us!
You have been busy! So many lovely pictures and a wonderful mural too!
ReplyDeleteI to gave a garden full of art and I love it, just adds to the character and makes it your personal space.
ReplyDeleteAll of those touches just add personality and individuality to your garden, and that's a good thing!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous fripperies (love that word!) your garden houses! I think they are delightful, especially Mr Mole. The mural your daughter did is absolutely stunning!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the artworks you did, especially the stained glass Egg mosaics!
Loved to hear about your school music experience! It was a massive part of my childhood too! Luckily, I get to do lots with my school!
I love all your fripperies and I'd want that dragon fly too! What app. or program do you use to group your photos please?
ReplyDeleteHi, I don’t use an app! I just choose four photos, start to submit them to my Facebook page but then instead of posting them on that page, I crop them and save!
