Everyone has their 15 minutes of fame at some point in their lives and mine came today!
Yesterday, I was approached by a journalist from The Daily Telegraph, after I had made a comment on an article about ‘Downsizing’. She asked if I would be willing to contribute to a further article on the subject and send her some photos…which I duly did.

Congratulations on the article! Glad you're enjoying your new, smaller home and garden
ReplyDeleteThis appears a very wise move, Sal, and you now have a lovely new home. It might not have the large, wild garden you previously loved, but you still have a garden and one that is perhaps larger than the average town or suburban gareden. Well done on your Telegraph article, too! There are always pluses and minuses to house moves, nothing is perfect, but you do now have a lovely new home and garden to enjoy. Well done, you.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the article and its a really lovely post from you. I am so glad you have settled so well into your new home and garden and that the move was right for you. We wish to move too and there are doubts as it seems such an upheaval and we have been here around 45 years! We too have a big garden here which now we are both about 70 is getting too much to manage. Our daughter is about to move into a flat she has bought but my son still lives with us so we are limited in our choice but I do want to live somewhere more rural even a town or village would be fine.
