I’m a massive lover of mosaics, especially those with a garden theme, and last year (when I was searching for Christmas presents!), I was lucky enough to come across this lovely creation, below. Better still it was locally made and I’m all for supporting local crafts people.
I’ve since found a few more delightful pieces. I just love the pieces of old pottery
that the maker has used.
Of course, I do have a favourite place where there is a lovely mosaic...not garden themed but...
Isn’t it wonderful? And the best bit is that it’s unique...OOAK as we say! Most mosaics are just that and I love them!

We have a big one in the entrance of our school, the children all took part in making it xx
ReplyDeleteLyn, that’s lovely. The Torquay mosaic was also made by a number of pupils under the direction of a teacher.
