Garden snippets ;-)

There's not an awful lot of colour in the garden at the moment

but at least it's now looking amazingly tidy!

The hedge is cut, a bonfire has been had... and now we're

'cookin' as they say!!

Mr S has worked hard !

Ready and raring to go; planning what to grow; feeling that

enthusiasm return !!

Isn't that great?! ;-)

This is the tree where the Bullfinches 'hang out'

although there was not sign of them yesterday

as we worked outside.

I can't wait to see the Sweet Peas working their way up these!

And around the back...Nich's plot...

ah well, there's all sorts going on and not only that

there's a new blog to read !!

  1. I rather like the new blog!
There may not be a lot of 'colour' but, boy, there's an awful lot of shades of green. And all those different leaf shapes. And the excitement of what's to come!
Oooo, love this time of year!

  2. There is nothing like the clean slate already to go!! You are ahead of us...we have the crocus....and a few very early dafs. I think I might have to put in some lettuce!!! Have fun!

  3. I love your garden, it looks so lovely and lush! Such a pity about the rose hedge, we have the opposite problem with neighbours who won't trim their hedge, so it shades our greenhouse! Look forward to seeing your son's plot develop.

  4. There's something very exciting about packets of seeds - all that promise of the summer to come no doubt. I do like your summerhouse, it's just the place for a cuppa served in a vintage cup.
