I found this gorgeous, vintage, barkcloth fabric on Saturday.
It was on the lovely Katie Powell's display of 'vintagey goodness.'
I'm not sure what I'm doing with it apart from keeping it...
but there's enough to make a pair of curtains or some cushion covers
...so maybe I'll do that! Or failing that , just adore and lovingly stroke!
Here are some more vintage fabrics that I've found
recently and they're ready to go into my shop:
I spotted these on Clare's display.
They come from 'Amateur Gardening' magazine.
Meanwhile, if you are anywhere near Trull, Taunton ,
on Saturday...there's a
Rag and Rummage Fair
Mr S and I are planning to make a day of it, visit the fair and, after a good rummage,
take in a train ride and some tea rooms!!
Watch this space!!
;-)
Love the fabrics - where do you get them all from? I wish I was nearer some of the vintage fairs that you manage to get to - they look so much fun.

I especially like the very last fabric on which RAG is placed, the lovely lilac fabric - how pretty that is.
