A lovely day ! ;-)

This is my daughter, Helen with her husband , Ben and their

beautiful daughter, Megan Amber.

We were invited over to the east of the county, yesterday morning, to see them

and also to introduce Meg to her Uncle Nich....

Only 11 days old !

We said our goodbyes and left the three of them to have a peaceful day .

We drove back to Topsham, for lunch and a wander around.

The sun was out and the day was glorious.

Lunch here was very pleasant...

And spring is definitely in the air.

Down by the quay, Topsham has a lovely Antiques Centre .

I didn't buy anything from this bookshelf but when I got home,

there on my doormat, was a Persephone book which I had ordered

from Amazon Marketplace...

'High Wages' by Dorothy Whipple.

So that's my reading for the week!

  3. Morning Grandma Sal!

    What a lovely spring post.
Aah the Topsham antique centre, I could spend all day in there and not buy a thing!

    Have a nice sunday.

  4. Thank you for sharing those lovely family photos, showcasing darling baby Megan! What a pretty little girl!
And my latest Persephone arrived, too! I'm joining in the Persephone Reading Weekand and my choice is Miss Buncle's Book by D E Stevenson, who was a favourite author of my late mother! How is it I'm fast becoming my mother? I see her in the mirror when I look in it each morning! But she was a good role model, I've no complaints!
Love that shelf of Penguins in the Antiques Cenre, but love even more that bright yellow coffee set!
