Bizarre Bazaar and ....the 'Tempting Edibles' ;-)

I suppose you could say that today, I was in heaven!
I could also have come home ten pounds heavier... and a few hundred pounds poorer!

On one side of me there was the most beautiful selection of homemade cakes!
And opposite me...

So what more could a gal want???!!

(Don't answer that!!)

And no, I wasn't in Totnes but I will forgive you for thinking that with all this shabby, vintage
and deliciousness in abundance !

I was in Ashburton for Biz Baz...or to give it its correct name Bizarre Bazaar.
And as you can see my friend, dear Amanda, was there too!

Biz Baz is a new event to the town and one which I think is just what Ashburton needs to complete it.

Biz Baz is organised by two incredibly lovely people, Birdie and Chris.

In fact, Ashburton is full of incredibly lovely people and there's such a thriving community spirit .
But you already know how much I love this little town as it has featured on this blog rather a lot!

Today's event took place in Ashburton Town Hall.

I took along my ever growing collection of vintage fabrics.

I managed to quickly race around with my camera .
Savour the flavour..it was quite a mix!

And of course...the 'tempting edibles'!
Sounds like a name for a new rock band! ;-)

I enjoyed the day; there was a lovely calming atmosphere within the hall.
We finished at 4pm and so I was able to manage a quick whizz around the town too.
I especially wanted to see what Sarah had in her ' Vintage Emporium' , having heard about her ad in Antique Explorer.

But that can wait til next time... as I have the supper to cook right now!

;-)

  6. I think you will have to adopt me, so I can go to all these wonderful places with you! I've had a great day out at the quilt show in Harrogate - I'm relaxing now with a glass of wine, and resting my poor feet!

  10. I was so sorry to have missed this! A lot of things conspired to prevent me from going ... a bad night the night before, oversleeping, feeling groggy all day, people calling in the afternoon, and so forth. But I shall do better! I've the Totnes 'do' on my calendar and also your Talk/Tiffin/Tat ... I'm hanging my head in shame for not making it to Ashbucket yesterday!
