Oh dear me!

No matter
which way

you

look at it

this is

50s vintage
perfectly pretty
shockingly shabby
cheekily chic
gobsmackingly gorgeous

and, oh dear, I should not have bid ;-)

but
couldn't

help

myself ...
well

what

would
you
have

done
?
;-)
P.S. Yes I just got some pastel colours and painted the grotty paving slabs!

  4. An absolute beauty. The loveliest rug I've ever seen.

I'm also lusting after your pavers - are they just standard slabs painted. I've the ugliest patio that could certainly do with sprucing up.

  8. I most definitely would've bid!

That's exactly the sort of thing I would buy and have everyone screwing their noses up and asking why or my dad claiming I do not know what to spend my money on!

  9. I shouldn't have bid on the vintage straw basket at the weekend either..... A girl's got to be doing something when the weather's too bad to garden :O). That is one beautiful rug. x
