Now those are very very lovely. Just my thing.
I have just dicovered your blog and I must say it's great . I love embroidery but I don't embroider very much, these are lovely. Now that I've discovered your blog I will surely be back.Sue.
I wonder how many hours were spent creating those embroideries. I also wonder where they were done, who did them, what was going on in their life at the time. What were they thinking about as they stitched. I really am too nosy for my own good!!!
Gorgeous, I love embroidery and I've got a few pretty vintage bits and bobs. As Simone said I always wonder about the person that made them, they are pricelessTwiggy x
Wow, what a bumper bundle of goodies. Presume access to my blog/site is OK again now.Sue x
Beautiful, such bright colours.Yvonne
They are all very pretty and so clean and unmarked. Like simone I wonder about the people who did the embroidery and what happened to them. I have several embroidered table cloths, napkins and dressing table sets that came from Mum and Dad's house when we finally cleared it - one or two of them have tea stains on them so they were well used. I know that my aunt was responsible for them, so although I never use them I can't bear to part with them:)
Gorgeous, gorgeeous! Love the pieces in the back!!!!!! They are all fab!xoBecky
