All things lovely!

Now then...Sometimes a little bit of ebay does you good!
I love embroidery like this.

I try to do a bit now and again but really it's more of a winter thing for me!


Some for me, some for my Etsy shop!

  6. I wonder how many hours were spent creating those embroideries. I also wonder where they were done, who did them, what was going on in their life at the time. What were they thinking about as they stitched. I really am too nosy for my own good!!!

  10. They are all very pretty and so clean and unmarked. Like simone I wonder about the people who did the embroidery and what happened to them. I have several embroidered table cloths, napkins and dressing table sets that came from Mum and Dad's house when we finally cleared it - one or two of them have tea stains on them so they were well used. I know that my aunt was responsible for them, so although I never use them I can't bear to part with them:)
