Today's book...Good ideas for your Garden!

Guaranteed to inspire you to get out into the garden, is this lovely book from Readers Digest.

And if you don't have a garden then it is certainly lovely to browse this book... and escape into the many gardens shown in these pictures.
One of my faves.

  1. Hi Sal

Thanks for your good wishes. Love this book. I've had mine years and it's helped me create several gardens during that time. Enjoy!

  2. This looks like a very interesting book to get ideas from. I'd read it out in the garden, in the shade with a nice cup of tea!

  5. Hi Sal, we must be mentally linked at the moment.. I was reading through the very same book a couple of days ago! A friend lent it to me years ago, and I kind of forgot to give it back ;) !! Talking of books I see you are reading or about to read some Susan Hill books. These seem popular in blogland at the moment... are they a good read?

  10. Sorry about the Gulls' loss Sal - you are a loyal supporter I can tell.

Love this garden book. I have a collection of them also and love to browse and dream at the possibilities for my little 1/4 acre! Everything is quite expensive to do though when it comes to having to hire professionals! Right now we're awaiting the landscapers hired to build a small decorative retaining wall around a front garden bed - to help with erosion mainly. Of course after months of drought it's now raining a lot so doubt they'll show today!
Thanks for "visiting" the front porch - you and Terry are welcome any time!

Love those knitted kitties so much!
Have a super weekend - are you off to Exeter by chance?
