I've had this book for years and years. Published in 1983, it is full of ideas (plus instructions and patterns) to inspire and even to improvise . I think you can still buy it on Amazon... for a reasonable price too.

I actively collect 'vintage' craft books as they are such fun. If you are able to see past the out of fashion fabrics they are still a great source of inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I can't TELL you how many of those cat pillows I've crocheted over the years! That REALLY brought back memories! LOVE your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love the older craft books, they have so many good ideas. Thanks for showing

Some things are just timeless, they don't seem to date. I think the Bazaar book is a bit like that, I could see a few projects that would be fun to do. Thanks for sharing the joy. hope you enjoy the fete season.
ReplyDeleteHi Sal,
ReplyDeleteThis book looks great..i have quite a few similar and lots of amazing old 'golden hands' magazines passed down from my 'auntie'' Shirley. Really great for inspiration and so nostalgic. I have enjoyed reading your last few posts about books and inspiration. I had all my gardening books out yesterday and sat in the sunshine planning and dreaming my little patch. Hope you don't get too hot in the greenhouse this weekend.
