It’s a sunny, Feb 14th here in South Devon. Although how long this will last, who knows? We’ve had more than our fair share of rain during the past few months, that’s for sure!
It’s St Valentine’s Day.
Saint Valentine was said to be a clergyman in the Roman Empire who ministered to persecuted Christians. Apparently, he was martyred and his body buried on Feb 14, which has since been observed as The Feast of Saint Valentine, since at least the eighth century.
( However, there are many variations on this story!)
And I’m sure that the flower shops and flower sellers love this day whatever the story!
A big ‘Thank you’ to Mr Snippets, who is indeed the love of my life. 🥰

Lovely flowers, we don't exchange anything, and we reuse the same cards, its our 5th time.
