It was a bit of a mixed day, weather wise, yesterday, as we made our way to one of our favourite places.
With a cafe and a plant centre, plus plenty of space, what more could anyone want?
And then Nich said that he wanted to nip to Plant World on the way home, as he was looking for a few extra annuals for a pot.
Everything was looking lovely there.
Plant World also produces its own range of seeds and you can find them here
And then it was back to Nich’s garden. He’s been working so hard in what little spare time he has. There’s nothing I like more than to look at other people’s garden, for inspiration!
I love the little touches in the garden and I love the perfume of this Philadelphus.
He was lucky enough to inherit this stunning bottle brush when he moved to their new house.
He’s made three small ponds and this is the smallest. Overlooking it, is the rose, ‘For Your Eyes Only’.Gorgeous!
I came back home feeling very inspired.
This morning, I looked out into the garden to find that this rose, ‘The Poet’s Wife’ has finally flowered beautifully. Nich and family gave me this rose a couple of years ago and it’s blooming lovely.
I was up early this morning sorting out some craft work for William. We’ve made a dinosaur kite and he’s finished his lovely sticker book so he can take this home tonight.
I’ll attach a string to it later…so he can have fun with it…let’s hope that it doesn’t fly away!
The kite is wonderful. William is a lucky little boy.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are absolutely stunning! William is very fortunate. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteSuch a delightful series of photos! Sweet to see William enjoying himself. I am hoping to get to our garden center this week, but we seem to have quite a bit of rain going on. Will have to play it by ear. Happy week to you Sal!
ReplyDeleteA great day out with Nich at some of your favourite places. Nich's garden is looking lovely too. William's kite looks fantastic with the dinosaurs and that beautiful tail. I hope he enjoys flying it at home.
