I love this place!
Urban and Rural Plants took over this nursery, at Powderham, from Toby Buckland, a few years ago and it’s as good as it was then and always such a pleasure to visit.
But first stop today was…the adjoining cafe! 😁
When you have a certain little boy with you, it has to be done…in fact this little sequence reminds me of the old days and ‘five boys’ chocolate!
After that it was a mooch around the plants.
Such a delightful display!
And not forgetting Mr Toad and Mr Hare!
Meanwhile, earlier this week, whilst having a tidy up, I discovered 7 pieces of very bright pink doilies!
It didn’t take me long to think what to do! So I cut some small triangles from some equally bright papers…
I folded them into tulip shapes…and …
Hey presto!
Tulips…(not from Amsterdam…but from Newton Abbot!)
