All dressed up…

Today, I’m all dressed up with nowhere to go! 🥲

A few years ago, I made these cards for a craft fair.

Yesterday, I discovered that I had one card remaining! And so with some spare time on my hands I decided to do some crafting.

Although I used vintage fabric when I previously made these, I have plenty of lovely papers and so set to selecting the designs that I thought would look good.

I tend to favour the K&Company designs as well as those from Basic Grey, Bo Bunny and Dovecraft. For these particular cards I’ve used the K and Co designs and a few from Dovecraft’s ‘Painted blooms’.

I also recently found this rather lovely flower tape…

As well as this, I love to use the liquid pearls from a company called Ranger. I use these frequently to enhance whatever I’m making.

Over the years they seem to have added a good selection of colours to their liquid pearls. (If you use these then make sure you add them at the end of your project so that you don’t smudge them as they take a while to dry.)

I raided my stock of embellishments and stickers that I’ve collected over the years…and I bought some more mini hangers…

And then there was no stopping me as I beavered away to my heart’s content.

The most fiddly bit was attaching the mini brads (split pins) to the straps of the dresses.
