I have no idea who created this but I saw it on Twitter and thought that it was too good to not share! As far as the creator is concerned, there appears to be no name to it but should I find out, I obviously will acknowledge!
Meanwhile, for me, this sums up The Coronation. It’s somewhat akin to passing the baton in a relay race. And I can imagine our late Queen Elizabeth ll saying, “ Do take care and do treasure it!”
I believe that Queen Elizabeth ll is a very hard act to follow and thus King Charles lll has the hardest task! Yet, I also believe that he has good support, not only with his wife by his side, but also from his sister, Anne, Princess Royal and her husband, as well as The Prince and Princess of Wales and The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
I’m particularly looking forward to this weekend, because as well as the significant, royal event, we have our own very important family event to celebrate! It is the birthday of our youngest grandchild, William!
William will be 2 years old! And last week, we received our own, special invitation! William shares his home with Nich, Lizzie and their Dachshund, Schnitzel, hence the rather lovely pictures below! 😁
I’m sure that a fine time will be had by all! With presents and cards at the ready, I’m really looking forward to this rather fine and grand time! With history in the making, as well as a two year old who will no doubt be thoroughly spoilt, it promises to be a most wonderful weekend!
I love this Sal - will be setting my alarm for 5 AM and getting up to watch TV tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteMy Union Jack is flying bright and proud from my front porch and my American neighbors are all mentioning how exciting the day will be for me.
Happy Birthday to your little William - such a cute invitation.
