1. The Savills Garden, designed by Mark Gregory.
I loved this garden!
Putting environmental considerations at the heart of his design, the highlights of Mark’s sustainable garden include the use of reclaimed brick, pantiles, Yorkshire flagstone and cement-free concrete.
Mark said:
'We imposed certain restrictions upon ourselves – no plastic, no cement or concrete, zero waste to landfill, salvage or recycle materials, source locally, reduce haulage – and it is this pledge that led us to work with so many pioneering, passionate people. Together we've all had one goal, to make magic happen, and I think we did it.'
2. A Life Worth Living - designed by Chris Beardshaw
Apparently, Chris drew his inspiration from conversations with people who have myeloma. The garden is so beautiful and the planting is supreme…as is always the case with Chris’s gardens! He always seems to come up with something that delights, inspires and makes one say, ‘Wow’. And he’s such a lovely man too.
