I’m sure gonna miss this place!

 

This week, we are leaving our lovely Woodpeckers and moving to pastures new.

It’s almost 21 years to the day when we moved here…

and oh the pleasures that it has brought!

I always think that when you buy a house, you are only really 

its caretaker for a while; just looking after it as best you can until

the next owner comes along.

      I have loved every minute here….potting and pottering…

     

      The raised beds were an added bonus….every garden should have some…

     

      The pond was pure delight…every garden should have a pond, too!

       And as for this…’For Your Eyes Only’…nicknamed ‘Ariston’ 

       as it went on and on and on…for months!

      The trusty greenhouse….I can remember the day, way back in 2004,

       when my darling other half worked so hard to install it!

But most of all, the bird life…it has been amazing!

And so we are off to a new home, sizing down a little..but we will still 

have a garden and it’s so close to woodland…so who knows?

We are hoping that the bird life will come calling and give

us the same pleasures and delights that Woodpeckers has offered

during the past 21 years!

We look forward and are quite excited at the thought of

a new abode and new adventures!

Woodpeckers will be missed…but never, ever forgotten!
