Happy weekend!

It’s the weekend again…how quickly it comes around!

So what’s been occurring this week?

Just below our pond area, we are making a gravel garden…of sorts! With 50 bags to shift from the front of the house, to the back garden, it’s been a such hard work…for one of us! 😁

     Watch this space..it’s going to look good! And talking of looking good…the pond!

It’s going from strength to strength! And every day when we sit there with a drink, taking a break from our hard work, industry and toil, we marvel at whatever decides to show itself, be it a new Lily leaf or a new flower on a pond plant. No Lily flowers yet but we are hopeful.

Meanwhile…I went shopping…as I do like the odd ‘feature’ here and there…and I’m a sucker for mosaics…so here’s a new one to add to the garden…

And now, all that remains for me to say is a massive good luck to our footballers but especially this man…Gareth Southgate. One photo taken in 1996; one taken this week. If only the lad on the left could’ve seen into the future! He’s certainly done the country proud !
