Happy Birthday!!!;-) x

Happy Birthday to the love of my life!

 ;-)

For his birthday, I bought him something which can only be

 described as 'very him'...

an oak, gentleman's valet stand.

And, knowing that he is a country lover,

I also bought him the, 'Out of Town' dvd set..'The Lost Episodes.'

After a visit to see Helen, Meggy and Toby, for coffee and cake,

I took my other half out for a birthday treat! ;-)

Obviously, he chose to go to Totnes!! ;-)

We had a very lovely lunch in The Seven Stars and then...

we wandered!

And, later in the afternoon, we found ourselves in Narnia!

I first discovered Narnia, before Christmas when I bought this

charming bar set, for a present:

Narnia is packed full of vintage delights, for all tastes.

T'is well worth a visit!

It's on the right hand side as you walk up the hill.

And as C.S. Lewis once said,

Even I never dreamed of Magic like this!”

  3. A belated Happy Birthday to your man and I have to say I am quite envious of your Narnia. Looks a real treasure trove.

  4. Belated Happy Birthday to Mr Snippets (aka Terry) ... oh dear, I have that LP of Doris Day and John Raitt in The Pajama Game. Went to see the film at the old Tudor Cinema (now Victorian Museum) in St Marychurch. I see that this is a hit musical in London once again. I can't think why it hasn't been revived before now, the songs are great.

  5. We love Totnes but being 300 miles away don't get to go very often. We have always called the shop at the top of the hill on the left 'Narnia'. It's the one with all the clothes, pushing past all the fur coats takes you into the wedding dress bit.
