I swear that the best things in life are those things which are very much unplanned
... and cost very little money!
I didn't have to start work until later today and so when Mr S arrived home,
we drove to the railway station and hopped on a train
to Teignmouth.
Teignmouth is 5 mins up the line.
I love a wander around the streets of Teignmouth
and today, blue was very much the dominant colour!
Lovely floral displays too!
We had a lovely walk...my golly it was hot!
We stopped at Luders for a quick snack and a drink...
joined by a Pied Wagtail.
Time to stop and watch the world go by...
And time just to be together, enjoying the sound of the gulls
and the gentle lapping of the water.
Lovely Devon! ;-)
What beautiful sights on such a heavenly day
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed joyous to be spontaneous at times
Yes the best things in life are often free or not too costly
I was sorry to read that your golly was hot, perhaps you ought to think more carefully about the effects of heat in future
Lovely post - I could do with a cool sea breeze just now. Teignmouth, I have only ever been there once but, my grandparents whom I have posted about spent many a happy holiday at Teignmouth.
