The wonderful Homespun Fair....and a new fair this Saturday!

I'm just quickly diving into my blog to show you what you missed

if you didn't make it to the Homespun Fair, Portscatho, on Easter Monday!

It was, as usual, a fabulous event, brimming over with

much vintage loveliness.

And I thought it was a celebration of a feast of colour, this time.

A huge thank you to Gertie and Jane for organising what is always a fun day

and it's one of our favourites !

Here's to the next one, which is on 5th August.

Meanwhile, if you are anywhere near South Molton, Devon, on

Saturday, we are going to be at this new event!

I think it's going to be a good one!

Hope to see some of you there!

  2. Looks like a wonderful fair. I can see lots of goodies I would have been tempted to buy. If I lived nearer I would have visited. Glad that it went so well.

  4. That all looks lovely, Sal! As if I've entered a time warp and am back in the 1950s! Actually, I don't really think I'd want to be back there, but with this still-very-strong vogue for everything vintage, people can pick and choose what they want from that era, unlike what it was really like then (and I speak from being able to remember the time!) But how pretty it all looks when displayed like those stall holders have displayed their warees. And those cakes look wonderful! Trust me to home in on things to eat!
