Gawjus! ;-)

On Sunday 21st August, I'm off to Portscatho, along with my fabrics,

to stall at the Homespun Fair.

If you haven't been to Portscatho and are near enough to make the journey

to Cornwall, then I highly recommend it.

This little fishing village is a delight!

And , of course, you can walk along the coast path and take in the

lovely scenery.

You can have a perfect day and of course take in the Homespun Fair.

Anyway...I've been getting ready some lovely offerings.

This is my favourite fabric this week...

it's 'gawjus'...as they say!!

Meanwhile...also 'gawjus'...

My ' gawjus' deck chairs arrived yesterday, from Amanda!

I love 'em ! ;-)

But, naturally, I've saved the most 'gawjus' of all til last...

Meggy is 6 months old on Monday!

Totally 'gawjus'!

I'm off to somewhere 'gawjus' at the weekend...I hope to bring back lots of

photos of that!

Hope your weekend is 'gawjus' too! ;-)

X

  2. Noooooo. We leave Cornwall for Somerset on the Friday before. :(

The fabric looks 3D. Are the beads real or printed? If printed, it's a fantastic trick of the eye. xx

  7. Has an Inglish teeter meself I as to take ishew with the poor standerd off spelling and granmer in yore blog

The werd gawjus shewd not be used aloan like that
but preceeded by the prfix Meggy, derived from the Greek, denoting a facter of a million, in the metric systum.

Too sum up the corect term is that she is

    MEGGYGAWJUS

( you have no idea how difficult it was to write this with auto-correct on)

  8. Ere, she is Gawjus (I have taken to saying "Ere" before everything since ive been to Devon!). I was hoping that you had a stall on the vintage market at Totnes but I didnt see you. The boys had a great time watching Torquay - hubby said it was like stepping back to the 1960's (apart from the prices!) and watching a match like it should be played. We had a great holiday xxx
