The Vintage and Handmade Christmas Fair ..and its attractions!!

A new addition to the 'Vintage and Handmade Fair' , held earlier today,

in Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, came in the form of the 'bouncers'.

Here they are, all lined up and ready to take their role quite seriously...NOT!

I mean how can you take this seriously...

Mr Custard...behave!!

But I had a stall to set up, fabric to sell and a camera

to take for a walk so I left them to their fun and games!

The 'Vintage and Handmade Christmas Fair' is always very special.

The displays certainly have that Xtra wow factor!

So..for your pleasure...

Click on the photos and they should enlarge.

I didn't get around everyone's stall... but no doubt there will

be plenty more photos on other blogs, over the next few days!

And as for this lot below... I think they should be hired out

for all of the 2011 Vintage Fairs.

(Either that ..or lined up and shot!)

A massive thanks to Michele and Jayne for organising

another wonderful event!

It was well worth the trip from Devon... and lovely

to meet up with so many old friends...and new!

Hope you all had a fab weekend, wherever you were.

I'll be back soonish, as on our journey to Gloucestershire,

Mr S and I dropped in

on a rather mystical, magical place.

;-)

  10. Oh yea, those bouncers look seriously scary - wouldn't like to come face to face with them on a dark night down a blind alley - particularly if they had brought that custard along!

  14. The Bunty and Judy annuals bring back childhood memories and I love the tiny bed with its quilt. I recognise the last little creatures (no I didn't mean the bouncers, I meant the cuties before them!)

  15. Not sure there was much bounce in that line up.. They did remind me of an identity parade.. but more hugs than thugs!
Thanks for catching all the wonderful booty on display.. I failed to take any close up shots as I was doing my usual headless chicken impression most of the day. Wish we could rewind.. it was a great day!

  16. Hello my friend...the fair looks wonderful...where have the days gone, I have been so busy with all the work and knitting...I am having a snow day with polly the fire is lit, I have finished my GCSE marking and now I am knitting a lovely red cashmere hat to go with my new coat which is the new love of my life....I have also covered lots of little boxes with paper mache made from pages from a very old dilapidated book...I am delighted with the results...I hope you are well and keeping warm...its ever so cold here...
