Thursday Snippets

Here's my delightful purchase from Totnes, last Friday!
A little, vintage rug from Amanda!
It's ideal for my small porch....just the right colours and in perfect condition.




I also found these pretty plates in the Totnes flea market...for a snip!






And this pretty plate stand in 'This 'n That. '


Pretty pleased with my purchases ?
I should say so!

Meanwhile...
Yesterday, I put on my best clobber and ventured to the local garden centre...
Jack's Patch.


As you can see , the housework has played havoc with my hands, just lately and I really must seek out a manicure!
But what fun it is to dress up for outings !

I strolled around with Master Snippets , who had the day off .
He has developed the gardening bug ... and can't shake it off !

A peaceful stroll around the spring flowers was just what I needed.


Of course it didn't take me long to find something that I wanted...!!!


The Magnolia, nearby, was beautiful .
Splashes of colour everywhere.


And now I have some lessons, this morning...and the rest of the day free to
play with some very lovely fabric, which came my way this week and some of which will be going in my shop later on!

    Waht a lovely trip to the garden centre, I just got my garden sorted out last weekend soneed to think about planting soon!

    There are so many lovely things to see in your post. I really like that rug...it would go nicely in my hall!! You have certainly given me the urge to get off to the garden centre.

    so many lovely pretty spring flowers in this post, inside and out. I love Jack's patch - especially their cakes! (works wonders in persuading Mike and the children that a trip to the garden centre is required!!)

    Lovely rug, Sal! This demi-lune shape was obviously made in the 1950s/1960s as a hearth rug, for in front of a fireplace, but it looks just perfect in your porch! And I love that seat at Jack's Patch - I expect it had a whopping great price tag, though!

I've not seen that before and I am so glad you gave me the link, as he was saying all the things that are exactly right for me and my educational & personal values.     I love the colours and shape of the rug and that cake stand wow!I love visiting garden centres O.H doesn't share my enthusiasm!!I want to paint my shed in the same colours as the lovely arbor,oh a trip out for me I feel!!!My daughter is in need of materials so I will be checking in on your shop.Have a good weekend,beckyx

    I like the rug, Amanada always has such lovely things on her stall. Lucky girl living so close to Totnes!

    It's that lovely time of the year when all the flowers are coming out. I can't wait to add some colour to our garden.
