So long, farewell...but only for 11 months!

The crowd have gathered to say their goodbyes!

They'll be carefully packed into boxes and tins and from then onwards it'll be a long rest
so that they can recharge their batteries for... Christmas 2010!

Don't you sometimes wish you could do the same...?!

And tis time for me (above) to stop all this entertaining!

But what a fab Christmas we've had!

Phew...busy... but I wouldn't have it any other way!

And so it's 'tidy up time' in the Snippets house.

Bye bye Christmas!

;-)

  8. Mine are all down too and just waiting to be popped back into the loft. Is it just me or does the dust fairy empty bucketloads everywhere when the deccies are up ;-)

  9. Our visitors couldn't come today, because of the icy weather, so it might be time to take down the decs ... I always feel a bit refreshed when the house goes back to 'normal' - whatever that is?!!

  10. Love the plate-balancing lady! Where did you find her? She's wonderful!

We've already put Christmas 2009 to bed ... so glad to get it all packed away again, not that we go overboard with decorations, just a tree and cards.

  12. We packed Christmas away yesterday and it is now in its box in the roof space - I always find the house gloomy for a while until I get used to it again - now I can see that I need to get the dusters and vacumn cleaner working this morning! :)
