The crowd have gathered to say their goodbyes!
They'll be carefully packed into boxes and tins and from then onwards it'll be a long rest
so that they can recharge their batteries for... Christmas 2010!
Don't you sometimes wish you could do the same...?!
And tis time for me (above) to stop all this entertaining!
But what a fab Christmas we've had!
Phew...busy... but I wouldn't have it any other way!
And so it's 'tidy up time' in the Snippets house.
Bye bye Christmas!
;-)
The Christmas touches are slowly disappearing in our house too!

Oh yes....... sometimes I just wish I could hibernate, but then I would miss everything that is going on and miss blogging and meeting friends
ReplyDeleteI love the plate-balancing lady! But are the Jellycat and PG Tip monkies REALLY going away for eleven months? I couldn't bear it. xx
ReplyDeleteI think it's really sad packing eveything away again :( It's been my excuse for not cleaning the living room...hahaha!!
ReplyDeleteHello Sal,
ReplyDeleteyes, Noël est déjà fini :-)) Mais on attend avec impatience le prochain !
Nous commençons aussi à ranger toutes les décorations à la maison.
Bon dimanche !
So sad to see them go!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to take down my beloved decs too it does have the effect of an instant de clutter tho!!
Oh I meant to sat before I love your nutcrackers!!!!
It makes them all the more special when they come out just once a year doesn't it?!!!
ReplyDeleteMine are all down too and just waiting to be popped back into the loft. Is it just me or does the dust fairy empty bucketloads everywhere when the deccies are up ;-)
ReplyDeleteOur visitors couldn't come today, because of the icy weather, so it might be time to take down the decs ... I always feel a bit refreshed when the house goes back to 'normal' - whatever that is?!!

Love the plate-balancing lady! Where did you find her? She's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWe've already put Christmas 2009 to bed ... so glad to get it all packed away again, not that we go overboard with decorations, just a tree and cards.

I'd quite like to sneak into thebox with my decorations, but only til the spring!
ReplyDeleteWe packed Christmas away yesterday and it is now in its box in the roof space - I always find the house gloomy for a while until I get used to it again - now I can see that I need to get the dusters and vacumn cleaner working this morning! :)
ReplyDeleteYep, all packed away here too!
