Faffing around ! ;-)

Oh, the joy of faffing around...do you faff?
If not, I would recommend it...just now and again! ;-)

I'm an expert!

Inspired by these vintage papers, I modified a few tags...

...to add to these vintage 50s style tages, which I found in Gazebo, Totnes, on Monday.

And then I faffed around in my hall!

There's nothing like faffing around with a dresser!

On Monday, my mum handed me a bag and inside...1950s paper lanterns...!

I don't know about you but I experience 'sheer delight' when I emerge from the cupboard with the Christmas decorations ... t'is like greeting old friends!

And they always seem to be waving and smiling!

And finally... I put all the names in a hat and I can announce
a winner of my recent giveaway...
Amazingly it is ..Sally!
(What , I won my own giveaway?!! LOL)
That is Sally of ...
Thanks to everyone for joining in!
;-)

  2. What a lovely colourful, festive home you have! Not done anything here yet, but it is only the 3rd Dec! I don't decorate too early, indeed we always used to put up the deckies and tree on Christmas Eve, but now we do it about a week before Christmas ... however, trees this year are a horrendous price (that is, if you want a real tree each year, as we have.) Even quite small ones are around £40. I read in the paper that this year they are going to be more expensive, so I suppose even if they have cost just as much to produce, the shopkeepers will think, "Oh well, customers expect them now to be more expensive, better whack the price up so as not to disappoint 'em!"

  4. I am the Queen of Faff! Faffing helps me to ignore all the jobs on my 'to do' list!

I love your festive dresser - it's great to bring out all the special Christmassy stuff, isn't it?!

  5. ooh, I do like a good faff too, I just wish mine produced such good looking results as yours does! No decs for us until after 10 December (Husband's birthday) but then I really look forward to getting them out and get more excited about the whole thing than the children do!
