They came from the north in their lovely orange van!
Yes, it's the 'Cocoa and blankets' family...
Helen, Pete and Polly.
Stopping off at a campsite almost next door to us, they were able to spend an evening with us and then we waved them off the next day as they continued on their journey to Cornwall.
They came bearing gifts... ;-)
I can't wait to get crafting...loads of ideas here!
Ah Sal...I'm a little envious that you got to meet Helen, Pete and Polly! One day soon, I hope.
ReplyDeleteHope you are fully recovered now. See you soon. x
Hi Sal,
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Helen has always come across as a really lovely lady - I'm so glad you all had such a great time.
Hubby and I have just returned from a spur-of-the-moment holiday (well an over-nighter) to Devon...I called in to see Ros (who I have known for quite a few years) in Ashburton...and you were mentioned! ;-)) Blogging does create a small world...
Look forward to seeing you again at the V&H - have a great week,
Niki x
I just don't "get" Blogger sometimes...... I found this post of yours annotated "posted two days ago", and yet it is dated today....... Anyway, i found it, and I am so glad I did. What a lovely thing to have met other bloggers. I am green with envy over that book: the peg dollies look a delight! Here's hoping this message gets left only once. (Sometimes I am scared to check back because sometimes they don't get left at all and on other occasions they get left twice!!). Onwards and downwards... :O)
ReplyDeleteI am having a little cry here, what lovely comments and after I have been shouting at sweet P cause we burnt the toast...poor pete is wet...there is a leak in the coffin and its raining...so soggy douvet.... but we dont care...cause we watched strictly and we are seeing jane today... thanks again for everything...your pictures are great! we may get to see a few more bloggers as I have had some more invites somerset and penzance...love and hugs H ps glad you liked the gifts

I've got that Stitch and Sparkle book and there's lots of great things to make in there. I enjoyed making the peg dolls.
