It was like a summer's day in Lyme Regis yesterday ! We nipped over the county border and had a lovely stroll... plus pub lunch!
And, of course, the views of the Jurassic coastline are fabulous.

Little reminders of fossils, everywhere!
oohhhh I haven't been there in years! We sometimes went to Beer for a Sunday afternoon drive, my dad likes driving!....always had ice cream as a treat. The shop looks lovely, not sure about the Christmas mug this year, however I do like the new Christmas tea towels on the web site. :)
ReplyDeleteIhaven't been there since we lived in Sidmouth! I remember it was quite hilly.
ReplyDeleteI finally get see what Lyme Regis looks like! We set off for a day out there a few years ago, got side-tracked when His Nibs spotted a monastry with a walled garden which was open to the public, and that was that! We spent the day there instead. Glad you had a wonderful time, the pair of you. :O)
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Lyme Regis, it's looks gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your day Sal.

ReplyDeleteOooh...we went there after visiting River Cottage last month and I called in that little shop. I was amazed at the amount she fitted into such a little space and the staircase was divine!!
ReplyDeleteOf course it would have been rude for me to leave without making a little CK purchase!!
Glad you had such a lovely day.

Oh, Sal - you are so lucky - I love Lyme Regis but haven't been for ages. I love the buildings in the town especially those pink houses in your photo; are they the ones on the way down to the Cobb? So glad you had a lovely day and lovely weather:)
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your views, and thanks for the reminder. Lyme and Beer were two haunts we visited in the Summer. I always go into raptures when I see those fossil lamp-posts! x
