On location!

It was like a summer's day in Lyme Regis yesterday ! We nipped over the county border and had a lovely stroll... plus pub lunch!





And, of course, the views of the Jurassic coastline are fabulous.


Little reminders of fossils, everywhere!



Naturally, I stumbled across this little shop in the main street!






The new Cath Christmas mugs had just arrived.

Having had our fill of Lyme Regis, we made our way back to Beer , a quaint little fishing village.

    oohhhh I haven't been there in years! We sometimes went to Beer for a Sunday afternoon drive, my dad likes driving!....always had ice cream as a treat. The shop looks lovely, not sure about the Christmas mug this year, however I do like the new Christmas tea towels on the web site. :)

    Ihaven't been there since we lived in Sidmouth! I remember it was quite hilly.

    I finally get see what Lyme Regis looks like! We set off for a day out there a few years ago, got side-tracked when His Nibs spotted a monastry with a walled garden which was open to the public, and that was that! We spent the day there instead. Glad you had a wonderful time, the pair of you. :O)

    I love Lyme Regis! I took my older son there a couple of times camping. We loved exploring for fossils :-)

    Oooh...we went there after visiting River Cottage last month and I called in that little shop. I was amazed at the amount she fitted into such a little space and the staircase was divine!!

    Of course it would have been rude for me to leave without making a little CK purchase!!

    What a fab shop! I love Lyme Regis but haven't been for a few years since moving up North! I love that Merry Christmas jug and the CK Christmas mugs - lovely!

    Oh, Sal - you are so lucky - I love Lyme Regis but haven't been for ages. I love the buildings in the town especially those pink houses in your photo; are they the ones on the way down to the Cobb? So glad you had a lovely day and lovely weather:)
