Riots of colour ;-)

Last night, a friend sent me a few lovely photo collages.
She has no blog and so she kindly said that I could put them on my header.
I'll put on one a day, today's header theme being, 'All things yellow'.

Meanwhile...

I certainly returned home yesterday with a 'riot of colour', as, along with the sunflowers, I found this rather gorgeous cotton yarn in The Wool Gallery.

And that's not all!

The last time I was in there, I noticed these lovely, bright buttons.
I'd used some on my crocheted cushion cover and they finished the job off just beautifully...
or as we say here in Devon, 'Proper job !' ;-)

And right now I'm in between lessons ... so this is what's going to occur...

a nice cup of tea and some fab reading!

  1. Your friend's photos are amazing! I like bamboo fibre too - we have a duvet cover in the fine cotton, which is really breatheable.

  5. Love the bright colours of the cotton, Sal, and the buttons are perfect partners.
Your tea cosy is great, I expect you've posted pictures of it before, but I haven't noticed it, I'm guessing its one you knitted yourself?
Your friends photos are really good.

  9. What a gorgeous header, I look forward to seeing some more of them.

Lovely wool too, I'm itching to get a crocheting, but no time at the moment, maybe it's something for the cosy of nights of autumn (not a million miles away).

  10. I'd love to join you for tea and magazines ~ I spy Sew Hip, which I haven't been able to buy here, Country Living, which I buy (but it's always late arriving!) and Period Home, which looks interesting...now where did I put my glasses?
