I hope that my 'newly opened cafe' appeals to you!
LOL ;-)
I just love today's header pic...a big thanks again, to my friend Margaret.
Anyway, if that does not whet your appetite, then here's something else which might, if you are holidaying in South Devon!
A couple of days ago I received a text message...
'Sal, you just have to visit this lush place.'
'It's called Connybear Farm and it's on the back road, between Newton and Torquay.'
Anyone local knows that this is the road to take, if you don't want to be stuck in a very long traffic queue to Torquay, especially during the summer season.
So off I went this morning, with my mum, not knowing quite what to expect.
Well...it wasn't a disappointment!

It was fab..lots of vintage bits mixed with new...
Work in progress too!
A fab allotment!
With views over a wonderful county.
And take a guess at which blogger I bumped into as I arrived!
I had to check to make sure that she had not got her camera!
And yes, it was a lush morning!
;-)
It looks wonderful! I was at school with some Connyberes (different spelling, I note).
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place and thanks for the tour. Love to visit places with lots of Inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
That place looks interesting. Somewhere else to put on my list for visiting..........
ReplyDeleteDo hope that connybear farm doesn't mean that that sneaky road to take to miss the tourists becomes just as blocked with people going to eat those delicious cakes on your header. How could you post such scrumptious fare when I am trying not to eat cake!!!
ReplyDeleteThe cakes look gorgeous - I'm sitting here with a mug of tea wishing I had a nice slice of cake to go with it:) What a super place to visit - it looks as if you could spend ages there:)
ReplyDeleteThose cakes look scrumptious!!!!!! I spy a coffee and walnut cake(I always have C & W cake when I go out, noone in my family likes it, so I never make it for myself!!)
ReplyDeleteConnybear Farm looks like a lovely place to spend a few hours, such lovely things to look at, and so much money to spend, lol!!!
