Makes your heart sing! ;-)

My goodies from the recycling centre (or dump!) ... this ... once a horrible, brown, wooden plant stand...

Now transformed ... painted in F&B Apple Green.
And..

Two terracotta chimney pots

I stood in awe and wonder when I spotted this beauty in my garden , having just come into bloom...

And just as vivid...
Hanging splashes of colour which make my heart sing..

Perpetual cuteness...

Cornflowers blowing in the breeze...
Yes!
Summer has truly arrived !

I hope the sun shines for you.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone ;-)

  1. Lovely blooms Sal and I love the old chimney stacks .... years ago my husband was offered a lorry load of them by an old roofer friend (in the days before they became fashionable) and he turned them down. I have been kicking him ever since ;-)

  5. Sal, I can't believe you got the chimney pots at the tip, what an amazing find, and the plant stand ain't half bad either! I love cornflowers, I really must try for some in my garden. Your hanging baskets are so beautiful and colourful. I have stopped doing them, I always neglect to water them! x

  6. Sal: just don't get me on "dumps/recycling centres". .. we take it("stuff") to our local dump/recycling centre and you are expected to shove it over the side and leave. I see lovely plants, lloyds loom, fabrics, ceramics ALL crushed because of government legislation. It is sooooo very, very sad. x

  12. Oh Sal, i LOVE your garden! Everything looks so so lovely, your garden looks like it just evolves, like you dont have to try to hard, i love that. Did you have to prime the 'reclaimed'plant pot holder? Ive got lots of things id like to repaint but i dont know where to start?? Do indoor and outdoor things need primer or does it depend what theyre made of? Help! xxx
