Garden 'delights'..and a winner ;-)

I have a fascination for old books... and especially their covers!

I mean...he's just the sort you'd want to take into the garden with you! ;-)
Or maybe not!
Maybe you'd prefer...

Personally, I think gardening books are prettier without hunky men hanging around on the covers of them!

I have all of these books standing outside, in my covered area, on my old wooden apple crates..and I love to look at them as I pass by.
So cheery.

And so to the winner of my giveaway:
Out of the hat has come...
TWIGGYPEASTICKS
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

What beautiful books, and I agree, the old books without hunky men on the front are much prettier. Have you ever seen the Ladybird Book of Garden Flowers? That is a very pretty book

What a lovely surprise thanks Sal, I seem to have a winning streak at the moment, perhaps i ought to start buying lottery tickets ;) lovely books, the covers are so pretty. The chap with the pipe reminds me of my Grandad who was a gardener. Jumper and pipe in the Winter, concession to Summer was letting his trouser braces hang down and unbuttoning his top button !!
Thanks again.

I love the look of the Ladybird English Gardens and British Wild Flowers to much I've been online to Abe and ordered them ... is there no hope for me? Far too many books, insufficient time to read ...
