Flag crazy... with a little help from CK!!

I woke up very early and lay awake for a while, simply contemplating!;-)

There's a craze sweeping the country right now, isn't there...The Union Flag..or Union Jack, as it is more commonly known.

So... how could I alter my clipboards, using this idea?!
And I played around for a while

There is a remarkable lack of scrapbooking papers which lend themselves to the old patriotic theme, in this country at least.

With this craze in mind, I am amazed that not one UK scrapbooking paper company is producing bright, bold, reds and blues...stripes,patterns,floral..you name it!
And could I find any in my pile ?

So, you know to whom and what I turned ?!

I'm loading this clipboard with papers , tags and 40 pieces of CK Ikea Rosali patchwork pieces!!
Woweee!
And a free Rosali FQ

The flags, on the front of the clipboard, are pockets in which to tuck things.

The fabric and papers will be tucked into more pockets on the back of the board.

OOAK..as they say.

It's in my shop now...

  1. Those are great! I've noticed that the Americans, who are so far in advance of us in terms of flag-crazes, have WONDERFUL red, white and blue fabrics, often with stars, stripes, fireworks or the whole flag repeated on them. The Obama inauguration quilts used these fabrics very creatively - did you see any of them?

  3. I understand that the Union Jack is called thus when it is flown at sea. It is the Union Flag when flown on land.
