Photography B.A. (HONS) ;-)

This morning I invited some 'Guinea Pigs' to my kitchen, to act as would be customers/critics.
I had set up my table...a practice run ...for the forthcoming Vintage & Handmade fair.
But no matter how hard I tried, could I take some fab photos ?!!Oh no!

Disaster!

'Not colourful!' they muttered.

'Too swirly'...they complained.

'Too much blue,' they moaned.

'Too much glare,' they shrieked
'Not very interesting at all,' they agreed.

'Badly out of focus,' they joked.

So I tried taking the photos through the blinds...no good!

I picked up everything, screwed it into a large ball and threw it into the air, in exasperation!

Things were getting fraught....!

I was in a tizz!

So I rolled it all up.

And packed it all away neatly...for another day!
Damn that fair!
Lets hope it all looks better on the day!

(With grateful thanks to Paint Shop Pro...and also Kitty, who told me how to do the multi pics! ;-) LOL!

  1. LOVE all these photos Sal... it looks like you have been having lots of fun. Your table is going to look fantastic.
I still have so much to do. Have a Fair at a local school on Thursday so hopefully that will be a dummy run for me.
Just checked out the Vintage and Handmade Site and it's only 10 days.. i may just have to do a countdown?... on second thoughts it always scares me when i do that.
    See you very soon!

  3. The pictures are great and I actually think your practice run looks really good. The thing is that it never looks quite as good on the kitchen table anyway. I've done a practice run like that myself for previous fairs. I'm sure it will look fab on the day. Just wish I could be there to see it.

  4. That was so funny! Wouldn't it be great if you could roll everything up like that? Judging by the pictures I have a good idea that your stall will be most striking. It would certainly pull me in if I was there.
