Look !! Competition Giveaway!



Well... after the excitement on Friday, it really is back to normal now..if there ever was normal in this house!

A couple of weeks ago, I received an email, out of the blue, from someone who I got to know about 7 years ago. Then we lost touch when she moved a little further afield.


Now she is back in the area and she stumbled across my blog, whilst looking for crafty 'goings ons' in good old Newton Abbot, so decided to get in touch.

I love surprises and found myself not only saying 'come for coffee' but also ' come and do some crafting' !!!


Do you ever says things like that and then panic?! Not the coffee bit...the crafting!

Enter the Sizzix Machine! It saved my day!



I am lucky enough to own one and in all honesty I don't use it enough.




Not long ago, my daughter passed on masses of craft items to me and this included a lot of Sizzix dies ; I am now well equipped in that department!!

Problem solved. I got out the Sizzix and we made...

Since then, I have made a few more!



Simple, effective and lovely for a gift, either with or without photos.

And now for the Christmas Giveaway!!


All you have to do is guess the Christian name of my crafting friend...it is as easy as that!! ;-)

(A clue: it is a name of English origin...and nothing whacky, extreme or out of the ordinary!)

    This is completly random but the name Barbara came into my head. I can't believe the amount of Sizzix dies you have! The tag books are lovely. I bet your stall is going to be packed with lovely things!

    My mother was French Belgian and was called Anne-Marie... maybe not then..
