Life's Little Projects!

Rummaging around in the car port last week, I came across this old, small cupboard...unused and unloved! ;-(

I think Dear DH found it years ago, in a cupboard. I've no idea why it was made or for what it was used.

Enter...

I love the Cooking Apple Green colour!

I just don't know what to do with the cupboard..any ideas gratefully appreciated;-)

Whilst it was drying I had a bit of fun with some jam jars and various transfers!

Now all I want to do now is sit down and read my huge pile of these!

  1. The cupboard looks great - I love the green colour. It looks a handy little size for a corner - maybe you could keep a supply of candles and tealights and associated bits and pieces in it.

  2. I wish I could find such brilliant treasure in my own garage - sadly it's mainly outgrown plastic toys.
    What a transformation!

  3. I know exactly what you can do with your cupboard!
You can deliver it to me in Bath and I will use it in my conservatory (plastic box on back of house) to put all my gardening tools in... Just what I have been looking for! AND it matches my cooking apple green Lloyd Loom sofa...
    only joking but nice thought!

  8. Great little cupboard and I think it would be nice as a side table in a bedroom. I just bought a garden magazine today and my monthly magazines subscriptions are arriving. I’m a magazine junky. Have a wonderfully weekend and happy gardening too. : )

  12. What a transformation. It looks so different. I can just picture it in a rustic french farmhouse house jam jars full of homemade preserves. Yummy. Sorry it probably doesn't help much with what to do with it.

  13. Fancy finding a cupboard in a cupboard! I keep meaning to get round to doing these sorts of projects and never do. Your jam jars will look lovely as nightlights in the garden. Great finished projects. I see you are still teasing us with those interesting looking Garden magazines. x

  14. Lovely little cupboard, I suspect it has a million uses.

Think your probably right about the garden, although it did have some beautiful roses in it that I would like.

I tried to see how much your fabrics are, but they are covered up by all the different buttons and I can't see!

    drop me an email? zoelynch[at]unknowndomain[dot]co[dot]uk

    Thanks!
