Here's the proud father...
We think there are about five or six chicks in total... but they all moved into the hedge as we crept nearer.
That fluffy chick is really cute! The father not so!
I love pheasants they are so handsome and they make me laugh so the way they just put their heads down and run when crossing the road!
Oh lovely, I hope there not too near the road!
How lovely, we have lots of pheasants round here but I've never seen a chick - so cuteTwiggy x
How fantastic is that! What great little chicks. They are a bit vulnerable. I hope they stay safe from predators? x
Awww, aren't they adorable? And their dad is very handsome too! x
Now that's cutie pie of a baby bird. Hope they stay safe and all make it. I remember how they stand in the lanes and then hurry to the hedgerows in a hurry when you appear on foot or in a car.Love English lanes - miss then over here!
I hope these chicks learn the highway code and soon! They are gorgeous and pheasants are not known for their road sense... I do hope they survive!Michele
