Happy anniversary ….(and get well soon!!)

Well…we’ve made it to 32 years! And to celebrate…unfortunately, we’re suffering from a nasty bug…me worse than him as I’ve had to get antibiotics. Lovely! So, we are having to put our anniversary meal out, on hold, until we recover. But as we often say, what does it matter as long as we are together! 😁

Nevertheless, I was lucky enough to receive a lovely bunch of blush roses and a beautiful card.

Here we are on that lovely day, back in 1993. He looks so young and me with the worst ever hair cut! 😫

  1. Happy anniversary to you both, it's great to look back at our wedding photo's, always looking so young and smiling at the fashion at the time. I hope you are both feeling much better soon, there is a nasty bug going around.

  3. Dear Sal,

Happy Anniversary and many joyful returns.

32 years is a definite achievement in times such as these when 32 days is as long as a marriage lasts.
You are very brave to post your wedding photograph, and you look wonderfully happy and content. No doubt you would have the same feelings today if you were not under the weather.

We are not brave enough to open our wedding album where we would find outrageously dated hairdos and sylph-like figures which are no longer recognisable as ourselves.

  4. Happy 32nd Wedding Anniversary. Your traditional gift should be lapis lazuli and the modern one is a travel gift, maybe a new car! Xx

  8. Happy Anniversary, and feel better soon. Sorry you have to put your celebration on hold until you both feel better. I think your picture is sweet. I've been enjoying visiting everyone on my blog list to catch up, as It's been too many months since I've blogged. It feels good getting back into it.
