Coming up…Roses!

I was going to tag this on to another post but then I thought ‘noooo!’ This surely deserves to have its own blog post! What a summer it’s been for Roses!

My favourite, as everyone knows, is Peace! However that’s not to say that I don’t love them all. And I’ve nurtured them all, regularly dead heading and watering …and I’ve even talked to them!🤣

For instance, a rose that has kept on giving and giving…and giving…is this one, below...Roald Dahl. It just won’t stop flowering! 

And then I have to mention ‘Lots of kisses’ , below, which I’ve only had for a week; it’s proving to be very prolific.

Another rose, a new addition to the garden and one that I especially love, is ‘The Lark Ascending’, below. I love it for its gentle, peaceful look…

And then, above, there is The Poet’s Wife…a gift from Nich and family , a couple of years ago. It’s a rose that, quietly, gets on with it! 

 

But as I say, I love them all! And I don’t trust myself to not add to my lovely family…but don’t tell the other half! 🤣😂🤣😱
