All sorts!

At the end of our garden, I have one raised bed, (which I’m gradually trying to make into a herbs/ Lavender bed) ; a greenhouse; three compost bins… and an area where I ‘faff around’! I love this place !

Nearby, are my raised planters, where I’m growing Sweet Peas and Pink Clover! The Sweet Peas are just starting to bloom. Hopefully, the Clover will flower very soon.

However, the star of this little area is this lovely Malva (or Mallow). I buy perennial wild flower seed mixtures that are free from grass and every so often I sow a few pots and pass them on to family members who are very much into making their gardens wildlife friendly. These Malva are from last year’s sowings and I think they are lovely.

On Wednesday, we had a quick trip to Longcombe Nursery…it’s on the Totnes to Paignton Road and so for us it’s a short journey and when we get there it’s always delightful. They really try hard to present everything so beautifully. As well as this, there’s a small cafe with the friendliest people.

And then came Thursday! And we all know what that means! 😁

Today, we did a bit of everything!

Colouring and sticking…

Painting…

Colouring with paint sticks and pens…

And playing…

And not to mention….cake….a lolly…a well earned drink…oh and a rest!

  1. I love a working end of the garden as well, yours is much prettier than mine, but most of mine is tucked behind our garage, your wooden crates are a perfect setup.
