Yesterday, a drizzly, misty day, we found ourselves returning to one of our favourite places. Favourite because it’s so quiet and unspoilt. It’s a real escape and we tend to venture that way rather a lot!
There isn’t a lot in Torcross but there is now a little cafe called, ‘The Billy Can’. It’s delightful! The cakes are home made and scrummy…the best! The welcome was first class and it’s obvious that the owner is trying really hard to please her customers. It costs nothing to give yourself and yet it reaps rewards. I wish this owner all the best as she deserves to make this little establishment a BIG success!
Torcross has an interesting connection with World War 2. You can read about it
