Good golly! It’s the Holly!

The Holly tree at the bottom of our drive is covered in berries.
                    meaning, possibly, a harsh winter.

If you have a holly tree that fails to produce fruit, it is likely
                     for one of two reasons:

You either have a male plant, or you have a female plant
with no nearby male plant to offer pollination.

                    Hollies are dioecious.
This means meaning that they need male and female plants
near to each other, in order to produce berries.
Only female holly bushes will have the red berries.

However, having said that, there is always an exception to a rule:

You can buy one or two species that are self fertile! 😁
