Tavistock Vintage Fair ;-)

Here are the photos from last Saturday's lovely vintage fair in Tavistock.

I'm a bit behind due to pressures of work... but well done to Sian,

for organising another fine fair.

We love our trundle across the moor, even though this time

it was pretty hairy weather!!

There was such a fantastic variety of vintage on display!

And, of course, the ever dependable, 'More tea Vicar'... and...

The best vintage tea room ever! ;-)

A sunny Sunday in South Devon :-)

This is Torbryan, in South Devon.

There isn't much in this little hamlet

but what there is, is very lovely.

You can't beat a sunny Sunday in South Devon and whilst the holidaymakers

who have already arrived in their droves, head to the popular 'touristy' places,

we head to the Devon lanes and the beauty of birdsong and relative peace.

Torbryan has a church and it also has an inn...The Church House Inn.

It's a delightful inn, with a restaurant and accommodation.

The Church House Inn was built in the 13th century.

It has many interesting features,

including beams and oak panelling.

There were many church houses in Devon, which were used for parish feasts,

at this time. Later on, many church houses became inns.

Torbryan was once on the main stage route from London to Plymouth.

South Devon at its very best!
