See you next year!

Well... that was Christmas!
How quickly did it pass by?

(Christmas angel from Totnes market...
apparently, they are made in Yorkshire.)

I have to admit that I love the run up to Christmas

(especially Christmas Eve!) more than the actual day!

Anyway, it was a lovely, family Christmas and

here are one or two things which came my way....

Plus.. I got an early birthday present from dear Mr S!

Just before Christmas, my Nikon Coolpix camera packed up!
I was gutted! It went everywhere with me!

With the cost to repair it being around £200 (gulp!) ,
I did a bit of research and I found a lovely little camera
which, so far, has not failed to disappoint!

A Panasonic Lumix TZ8

Nice and easy to use..and a lot less cumbersome.

Meanwhile, I hope that you all had a wonderful, Christmas!

See you next year!!

;-)

  1. Like you I like the run up to Christmas, but this year I was very late but we enjoyed our very quiet and relaxing Christmas

  2. I agree, the run up and Christmas Eve are more enjoyable. However much help there is in the kitchen, the day itself does seem to be a constant stream of work - enjoyable- but still hard work. xx

  3. Christmas went very quickly, but most enjoyable ... now I have The Cough but that is eased somewhat with a drop of Bailey's! Better than cough mixture!
I too have a new camera for Christmas which elder son and his girlfriend bought me to replace the one they accidentally broke in the summer, since when I've been using my excellent but heavy Nikon SLR.
Not long now to 2011 - I just wish the TV people would refrain from pusing the 2012 Olympics quite so much ... we'll be sick and tired of it before it begins - I really do not want 18 months of trailers!
Happy New Year, one and all!
