Today,I have mostly been in...

One simply has to visit Totnes.... frequently!
Some things change through the seasons... and some things stay the same....
and never go away!

It was a lovely day today as we wandered through the back streets,

taking a different route on foot, as when we arrived we couldn't park

in our normal parking place!

Busy or what?!

A few things had changed in 'This 'n That'.

There were plenty of new additions to Lesley's shop... I don't know how she does it!

As we walked through the market, this beautiful display caught my eye ...

As did:

Gorgeous cake plates...and alongside them ...'The Vintage Bazaar' postcards...

keeping the Totnes public well informed as to what is going on in the vintage world!

I came home with a few 'very small' purchases ! ;-)

Have a great weekend everyone!

  3. Totnes - my favourite place. Don't think we've ever been in Autumn though, always Easter or Summer, must make a journey in Autumn. We tend to park at the bottom of town now in the car park where you can get tickets for the ferry and walk up the hill looking at the shops - coffee/lunch at the top and then back down again.

  4. Lovely header picture, if only we lived nearer, I would have my name on the list to have a stall on Friday, next to the lovely Amanda.
    See you soon Sal.

  5. If you can bear the walk (and bearing in mind what you might have to lug back to your car!) we park on the Longmarsh car park in Bridgetown and then leg it from there. to get to Longmarsh car park, just follow the signposts to The Quay and continue along that road as far as you can, and there is the Longmarsh car park with, opposite, Baltic Wharf. If it's a dry day (even a chilly one) it's a lovely walk by the River Dart and then over the old bridge into Totnes and up the High Street to the market. And it's good exercise!
Excellent photos of Totnes, Sal. Love the view of the Castle, too. I wonder what you bought?

  8. Hi Sal, Lovely to see you and MrSnippets in the shop on Friday! I must remind my bloggers that they can get their 'virtual visit' to the shop via your blog whilst I still ... slowly ... potter along on my 'steam driven' old laptop!!
The market was looking great I agree and would happily have transferred tge pumpkin display to my window for the season of "mists and mellow fruitfulness".
