Loving my family. Added a couple pictures to my post as we've just been to see Lily and she ate two pieces of cake which is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines day :-)
I don't think my dear spouse even knew it is Valentine's Day, but as usual, be brought me breakfast in bed, then cleared up the kitchen, filled the dishwasher and vacuumed the carpets whilst I had coffee in bed and read a book ... to me actions often speak louder than words; still with me after our meeting 48 years ago, he's the world's kindest person I know ... but if I said, "Do you know it's Valentine's Day?" he look at me with a quizzical expression ...

The thought of a whole week off with my girls
ReplyDeleteHi Sal, it's good to be back. I'm enjoying my newly decorated hall, stairs and landing. This was done while I was away at my son's house. It's nice to have such a lovely smell around me. (my son's new baby is 4 weeks old, so I think you can guess what aromas I have been 'enjoying'.) I think I might eat my lunch sitting on the stairs today - the rest of the house now looks so shabby, and I don't mean in a Chic way. It's not too bad a Valentine's day without Liam. His idea of romance was a 'phone call asking if I'd like to go round to his house for a DVD, and then "maybe get loved-up" Bless him!
ReplyDeleteThe farmer has picked me some hazel catkins - very romantic for him as he is usually only able to supply hogs and kisses!
ReplyDeleteI got some lovely lillys from my Oh and then went off to Ikea for hours, home now and his as just assembled the drawers i bought :-)
ReplyDeleteplanning on spending this evening in front of the fire together - hope you have a great day xx
