Happy St Valentine's Day ...and a small giveaway!

Just being together...

...is all that really matters.

I have some small pieces of fabric to giveaway, depicting these gorgeous, old fashioned scenes.
I'll add a few floral extras so there will be about 12 pieces in all

Just make comment on this post about what or who you are loving today!

I'm loving the card, which I was given earlier.

Have a great day!

Today I am loving my wonderful husband John, and the gorgeous wool he thoughtfully bought me as my valentines gift, and the beautiful card he gave me, which he worte such tender and loving words in, I will treasure it forever.
We are having a day alone today, we normally go to my husbands parents for dinner on a Sunday, but since it is Valentines day, we are spending the whole day alone together, keeping nice and snug, and loving time spent in one anothers company. :) xx

  14. I don't think my dear spouse even knew it is Valentine's Day, but as usual, be brought me breakfast in bed, then cleared up the kitchen, filled the dishwasher and vacuumed the carpets whilst I had coffee in bed and read a book ... to me actions often speak louder than words; still with me after our meeting 48 years ago, he's the world's kindest person I know ... but if I said, "Do you know it's Valentine's Day?" he look at me with a quizzical expression ...

  16. Hi Sal, it's good to be back. I'm enjoying my newly decorated hall, stairs and landing. This was done while I was away at my son's house. It's nice to have such a lovely smell around me. (my son's new baby is 4 weeks old, so I think you can guess what aromas I have been 'enjoying'.) I think I might eat my lunch sitting on the stairs today - the rest of the house now looks so shabby, and I don't mean in a Chic way. It's not too bad a Valentine's day without Liam. His idea of romance was a 'phone call asking if I'd like to go round to his house for a DVD, and then "maybe get loved-up" Bless him!

  26. Lovely fabric Sal..... it puts me in mind of vintage Limoges porcelain with courting couples. My courting days are long gone after 30 years of marriage .... did splash out on the M & S meal deal though but there's not enough to nourish my OH ;-)
