Snippets and Winners!!

'Snippets and Winners'
A great name for a new firm of solicitors, don't you think ? ;-)
Whilst tidying up the craft room yesterday , I came across a pile of paper flowers, which I'd cut about a year ago when I was in 'Sizzix ' mode and making cards for the V&H Fair.
The cards had all sold out and so I thought, 'Right, Sal..tis card making in the morning!'

Simple yet effective...if you have a sizzix machine then all the better!

I just love doing things like this because in no time at all you have..an instant result!
Talking of results...I finished off these, at the weekend:

I've made them bigger than the usual needle case size .

Inside, there is also a space for threads which you might not want to throw away!

They will be for sale at the Fair...and in my blogshop .
I've included some needles and threads.

I then finished off these scented mats!
(I know..I need to get out more!!)

Finally... Sal's Snippets Giveaways..here they are, all bundled up and ready for the off...

The name out of the hat for my first giveaway:

  1. looks like you've been very constructive and busy. Those cards are great - they look really spring like with all those lovely colours - just the antidote to all this white and grey and monochrome landscape.

  4. Well you have certainly leapt into the new year with a spring in your step and busy little fingers. The cards look fab (I dabble in a little card making myself) and the colour combos in all your lovely sewing work extremely well. Congratulations to the two winners :)

  11. Hi Sal,

I'm so pleased that I've won your giveaway. I can remember buying patchwork packs from Laura Ashley in the 80's and making small items from them. I was so upset when they stopped making them. Thank you Sal, I'm thrilled.

In just can say you have a great talent !

  18. No, I like it when you don't get out too much, it means more for us to look at!
Glad you're going to join in the 20 minutes daily crafting. Well done with your 20 minutes today. Forgive me if I don't check in with you every day as I now have 19 bloggers joining in. If I check everyone every day I won't be able to find time for my 20 minutes. Lol.
Anyway there is enough of us now to all encourage each other.

    Keep posting your work though.

    Love Fi x
