Fair 'finds' and more.

Lovely tin from Michele...red and green being the main colours in my kitchen.

Gorgeous tea cosy from Amanda!
Along with...

Oh, how I love vintage baubles! I knew that Amanda would satisfy my Christmassy needs!!

This lovely set of three festive mats came from Lizzie.

Red fabric also from Lizzie.
Fabric FQs from Donna.

Fab tablecloth from Lucy...this is now taking pride of place on my kitchen table..

And being fit for very little on Sunday, I sat down and decided to sew my cushion covers!
I now have the brightest , most gaudy kitchen in the village where I live!
And if Josie Mary is reading this...yes sunglasses next time you visit!

Anyone for tea...?!

(But not until I return from mingling with all of those 'excited women'... at a Christmas place near here!

Have a great day!

I love it, it looks so jolly - just right for tea time.
What lovely goodies you got, Amanda's stall looked great. I'm going to try & get down to Totnes for the Christmas market. My friend is driving me down as the trains are rubbish. :)

  10. Hi Sal,
I am so completely impressed that you had the energy to make all those lovely cushions on Sunday!
You must be so pleased with your new kitchen make-over...I know I would be if it were mine. The perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea...and I tend to drink a lot of the stuff!
Wish I had, had more shopping time on Saturday...I missed some treasures, it seems...

  21. Hi Sal
Your purchases are lovely, but your cushions are just WONDERFUL - I want them!!
Sorry not to have had chance to say "Hello" on Saturday. It was my first experience of the fair and I was like a child in a sweetie shop - so much to see / buy and so little money/time!
I'm glad you had a successful day - your stall looked truly beautiful and colourful.
    Happy days

  22. Love those cups and saucers! And fancy finding a tin not only with red as the main colour (to 'go' with your kitchen) but showing a picture of Cockington Forge (for those who don't know Torquay, this is a pretty, olde worlde village.) I'm not fond of tea cosies though. I think the most horrendous one was one I was given in the early 1970s. It was fake fur in a bright virulent yellow. To call it daffodil yellow would be an insult to a lovely flower. And mother in law used to knit tea cosies and I thought, "hell's teeth, life's to short ... the tea would be stewed to glory if kept too long under a cosy!" Now, tell me this, all you crafters ... do any of you actually use tea cosies? Or do they just look pretty on a tea pot in your kitchen but, secretly, you dunk tea bags? Go on, do tell!

I'm going to have a vintage baubly Christmas tree this year too, my handmade hearts and red and white theme can have a rest!
